“Bad Life + Gadgets”
“Bad Life + Gadgets” is based out of NYC and is the sum of two parts: Jean Goode and Teddy Forthewin…they are friends of my band by way of Carlos, who produced my new record, “From Pillar To Post”, and is now on the East Coast with them producing a solo record for Jean.
These guys have undercurrents of hip-hop and trip-hop all wound into this sort of indie electro experience and, well…they have their hands in EVERYTHING including a remix of “Write It On My Left Arm” for Volume 3 of my “Blood In The Water” Remix EP Collection. It’s great and will be coming at you in November.
Jean Goode also lent her voice to “Feed Me To The Wolves” on my new release…Jean and Teddy are lovely and talented and I’m stoked on their remix. You will be too, VERY SOON!

I played Folsom Street Fair in 2006 and this guy had a set at the festival the same year…he was nuts and it was awesome. Daniel’s music is a nice mix of acoustic and lo-fi electronica. Think Yaz meets Tracy Chapman.
His remix of “Feed Me To The Wolves” is a booty shakin’, speaker bumpin’, dancefloor fillin’ sex romp and I dig it. Volume 1 kicks ass in part because of this guy. Now…go hump a speaker and have a listen. You can pick up this remix FREE with the purchase of my new record, “From Pillar To Post” HERE.

“Y-Tron”
Y-Tron is an electronic artist based out of Portland, Oregon. His music relies heavily on vintage synthesizer and drum machine sounds, as well as the extensive use of vocoder and he has a slick little sound going on throughout his work, remixes and otherwise.
I met Bryan Cecil-aka “Y-Tron”-back in the day and now, years later and long-distance, we are working together on a new LL dance record which will be out next year sometime! Interestingly enough, “Y-Tron” also did the music for my cover of “The Dandy Warhols” song “You Were The Last High” which I am going to be releasing next month at some point as a little taste of what’s to come.
Check out his remix of “Write It On My Left Arm” in the music player on this site and bring home Volume 1 today to make it yours forever. For more information on Y-Tron, CLICK HERE.
