I usually try and make some sort of end of year wrap-up post but this year feels impossible to summarize.

Beautiful and horrible and ugly and wonderful. New city. New EP. New film. New beginnings. New love. New baby. New record incoming.

Thank you to everyone at The Recording Academy who voted for us on this year’s first round Grammys ballot.

The “Distracted” EP was up for Record of the Year, “I Got A Man” was up for Song of the Year, the “Distracted” short film by Katie Marks was up for Best Music Film, and my collaboration with Yellow Trash Can was up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

We lost the noms to David Bowie, my Boygenius buds, and a bunch of other really talented folks in all 4 categories but I’ll still be at the big show again this February to celebrate.
