Shout-out to everyone still creating and trying to make shit happen during this absolutely fucked up time in the world.

After canceling tour dates, pulling out of festivals, and postponing my album release show 3 times due to Covid-19, I am finally going to perform this thing on Saturday.

We will be doing more of these secret, private, Covid-safe shows over the coming months. The only way to hear about them is by subscribing to my newsletter. If you aren’t already signed up, make it happen on the right column of this site.

And to everyone who refuses to do very basic things to keep other people safe and end this pandemic already: You can’t sit with us.

XOXO
Logan

We just wrapped season two of our Revry series The Library and I am really proud of what we created.

All episodes are out now on Revry or at www.TheLibrary.gay

#TheLibraryIsOpen

For everyone who keeps asking me when we are going to reschedule album release shows and announce tour dates in support of my new record for Kill Rock Stars, this is where we are headed:

The reality is, for many disabled artists and bands with people who have pre-existing conditions or compromised immune systems, playing shows without pretty extreme Covid safety precautions is not on the table right now.

THE PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER.

I can’t stress enough how thankful I am to be signed to a label that supports its artists and prioritizes our wellness and safety.

Label and labelmate support aside, you would not believe how much grief I’ve gotten from all kinds of people for pulling out of our tour and SXSW.

I wouldn’t normally spend an entire week retweeting the posts of friends, artists, and colleagues who caught Covid at a festival, but SXSW balked at all of our attempts to create (and pay for out of pocket) an actually safe environment for my showcase to still happen this year. They said no to keeping me safe, and we told them to go screw.

LOL ABLEISM.

Anyway, I stand by everything I wrote HERE when we pulled out of the festival and I am so fucking glad we didn’t go.

And please, for the love of music, wear your masks when you go to a show. It’s not that fucking hard and you are literally going to kill folks like me if you don’t.

I can’t make you all care about other people — but I wish you would. Live music should be accessible. Full stop.

No SXSW for me this year.

No SXSW for me this year. I just officially pulled out of the festival.

Human rights violations on the state level aside, I am very committed to being part of a music industry that actually cares about people who are at heightened risk for complications from Covid-19 and makes space for people with disabilities and pre-existing conditions to still do what they love safely. That’s not the current trend and it’s really fucking gross.

I’m lucky to be on a label that supports me here. I know that’s not the case for everyone right now.

We’ll party soon — just not in Texas.

Love you all. 💋

Texas Shows Update

Hello! I have made the very tough decision not to go to Texas at this time. More on that — and how you can still watch our new live show — over the coming days.

In the meantime, I encourage you all to be vocal about rallying behind Trans youth and the LGBTQ+ community in Texas, where Governor Greg Abbott is attempting to criminalize gender-affirming medical care, calling on state agencies to classify medical treatments and procedures that would align children with their gender identity as “child abuse”. This comes after the state’s attorney general Ken Paxton said that parents who allow gender-reassignment surgeries and procedures should be investigated as child abusers. It’s disgusting.

Join me in supporting organizations that are working to protect and advocate for Trans people in Texas:

  • The Central Texas Transgender Health Coalition helps to facilitate access to quality health care resources to the Transgender and nonbinary community, as well as educate health care and social services professionals in Central Texas.
  • Transgender Education Network of Texas is dedicated to ending discrimination through social, legislative, and corporate education.
  • TxTransKids.org is an initiative that provides resources on LGBTQ+ youth’s rights and encourages advocates to defend Trans rights across the state.
  • allgo qpoc is a cultural and social programming organization that connects and mobilizes queer people of color.
  • TransYouth Family Allies works to empower children, families, and educators on creating safe and celebratory environments for gender expression.
  • Thrive Youth Center supports LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness in San Antonio.
  • The Montrose Center is an LGBTQ+ community center based in Houston.
  • The National Center for Transgender Equality advocates for the equality of the transgender community at the policy level.
  • Trans Lifeline is a hotline that provides trans peer support.

TRANS YOUTH BELONG. BURN IT ALL DOWN.

I’ll be on XRAY.FM this Friday, chatting about the record, Old Portland, and more.

The interview will air on 91.1 FM and 107.1 FM in PDX, or you can tune in at www.XRay.fm at 8am Pacific.

Our SXSW showcase is happening in less than a month!

More on that soon.

Check out my interview on Austin Town Hall from this week in the meantime HERE.

Gucci // Kill Rock Stars

and HERE is their weekly jams playlist, which Baby Britain is on this week!

Don’t dream it. Be it.

I’m screaming about the blow up doll from my music video’s devastating cameo on tonight’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She really followed her dreams and it paid off.

Watch doll’s first starring role from last summer’s sex bop on the Kill Rock Stars YouTube channel below. 🖤

Yeah the world is ending but Gucci is dressing me for release week again so I guess it’s fine.

I am not playing any shows until it’s safe, friends. We made another music video instead of doing any live album release stuff (for now). It comes out Friday alongside the record on Kill Rock Stars!

Fingers crossed for March shows. Hoping we get to see you in real life again this spring.

💚❤️
