Thank you to everyone who has been streaming the single or pre-ordered the EP since yesterday when Kill Rock Stars announced it! I see you, gays.
And huge thanks to JD Samson, MAN ON MAN, Xiu Xiu, Bright Light Bright Light, and Plack Blague for being part of this with me. I love every single one of you.
Also I used to hide Faith No More CDs in my pants at the back of Camelot Music in the mall because I had to smuggle secular music into our house as a kid, so to have Roddy Bottum on this thing is wild.
If you find my album at a big box store, you absolutely have my permission to put that ish in your underwear and walk out. 🖤

Big thanks to Queerty for picking Bright Light Bright Light’s New Money remix as The Jam in this week’s “What to Watch” feature.
We love you, gays. 🧡

This year I got to work with a ton of people and only a handful of those tracks have been released.
Collaborations with Bitch, Xiu Xiu, Plack Blague, and Medium Build are out now on Kill Rock Stars! Remixes and covers of songs from New Money are headed your way from MAN ON MAN, JD Samson, Bright Light Bright Light, and more in the new year, alongside the record.
2022 is about to be CUTE. 🏳️🌈

Many of you have just had the chance to see John Grant on tour with Bright Light Bright Light (aka Rod Thomas) all over the U.S. and, no matter where you may have caught these two along the way, you got to be part of something very special.
I caught up with John and Rod just before their Portland stop on the tour. Read our chat, check out photos from the show by Disclosure Images and watch some music videos below.
John Grant: I have and Doug Fir is one of my favorite places to play in the world, so, excited to return!
Lynn: How did the two of you get connected?
Rod Thomas: Initially we met doing an interview together for Loverboy Magazine in 2014. Read the rest of this entry »
