LOGAN LYNN MUSIC + MANAGEMENT

JANUARY 7TH, 2010: LOGAN LYNN, CARS & TRAINS, AND THE GENTRY PERFORMING AT "DOUG FIR" IN PORTLAND!

Logan Lynn (2009)

I’m really looking forward to my show at The Doug Fir in Portland coming up just after the new year on the 7th of January. It’s gonna be a really good night. Cars & Trains will be performing a set, then The Gentry will do their thing. After that, I will take the stage and will be performing with BOTH of the other bands at different points during my set. It’s gonna be WILD!

I’ll be touring with The Gentry next year at some point and they have come on board as my new live band (in place of “Cars & Trains” who is going on a different tour this time around!) Anyway, we’ll be unveiling all of that at this show, so don’t miss it. It is certainly a new experience to have a full band backing me. It’s LOUD and awesome.

See you in a couple weeks, everybody!!! Here’s the poster:

"FEED ME TO THE WOLVES" PICKED AS ONE OF THE "TOP 50 SONGS OF 2009" BY THE "32 FT/SECOND" MUSIC NEWS BLOG!

Logan Lynn (2009)

The “32 Feet Per Second” Music, MP3 & News Blog put out their picks for the “Top 50 Songs of 2009” this week and my new record, “From Pillar To Post” made the list in the #34 position. You can check it out HERE, or just below.

From “32 Feet Per Second” (12/22/2009)

“#34 — Logan Lynn: “Feed Me To The Wolves” — We heard a lot of glossy, synth pop/rock this year. Logan Lynn, a label-mate of The Dandy Warhols, managed to separate himself from the pack. “Feed Me To The Wolves” isn’t just a shimmering, urgent bit of post-Postal Service electro-pop. It builds into an architectural elevation with bright keyboards clashing with double-tap drums. The stakes are high as Lynn freely admits, “You can feed me to the wolves if I make one mistake.” He doesn’t specify who these predators are, but we can assume that anyone who spent time in the music industry knows, the wolves are always at the door.”

Nice one, right? WOOT!
