This NEW remix of my song “Feed Me To The Wolves” was made by “Supercosa” and has a sorta dark, super awesome thing going on with it. Have a listen. It’s GOOD. Like…REALLY good.
One of the remixes from Volume 3 of my “Blood In The Water” Remix EP Collection got some attention from the “Boom Boom Chik” Electronic Music Blog this week! To check out all the nice stuff they had to say and have a listen, CLICK HERE.
Here’s a bit from the post to tide you over…
From “Boom Boom Chik”: (2/3/2010)
“New York based music collaborators Jean Goode and Teddy! of The Asteroid Belt are still doing their thing, this time having remixed Logan Lynn’s “Write it on My Left Arm” off of his 2009 release, From Pillar to Post. Lynn is a singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon who delves in different genres ranging from folk to electronic. The remix is a wonderful listen; the musical growth of Jean Goode and Teddy are evident in the fluidity of the track, something that is made possible only when the instrumental arrangements are solid and complement the vocals (as is the case here). Upon hearing the track I thought of the ubiquitous Imogen Heap and the less well known Milosh, two artists who are pretty good to be associated with if you ask me.” -Radio Morillo, “Boom Boom Chik”
Nice, huh? Go Jean and Teddy!!! Ink and Pixels, baby. Ink and Pixels!!!
Feb 5, 2010Comments Off on LOGAN LYNN'S COVER OF THE DANDY WARHOLS "THE LAST HIGH" FEATURED OVER AT "TRUTH EXPLOSION" MAGAZINE TODAY!
“Truth Explosion” Magazine picked up on my new single, “The Last High” today and posted the video on their site! You can check it out HERE. They kept it short and sweet:
From “Truth Explosion“: (2/5/2010)
“On March 9th, Logan Lynn is releasing a cover of “The Last High” by The Dandy Warhols, featuring a unique take on the classic song, highlighted by Logan’s electropop sensibility and his desire to give fans something they can dance to. Lynn released his highly acclaimed full-length, From Pillar To Post, in December 2009, which drew flattering comparisons ranging from M83, to Lykke Li, Cut Copy, Ladytron, Goldfrapp and even indie rockers, Metric.”
Also…I was interviewed by the magazine a few months back. You can read that by clicking HERE if you’re interested.
