(Ironically, Dead Leaf Echo falls into the same category…) Dude is a self-described “electronic-pop musician” out of Portland…and I really like his stuff. He has an album coming out in Fall 2009 entitled “From Pillar to Post.” It’s worth noting that this will be put out by Beat the World Records, the label owned/operated by The Dandy Warhols Though I’ll stay tight-lipped about it…if you dig this track I’d highly suggest filing this release away in the “to-check-out” folder for the Fall; it’s a really great release. (PS – I love receiving full pre-releases and listen to everything I get…but I especially love when I love the release!) I feel like this stuff could be immediately appealing to a large audience.”
