Forever grateful to MTV for believing in me back then! The video played across all of their channels for the better part of a year and it absolutely changed my entire life.

The archaic music industry narrative that there is limited space for LGBTQ+ bands is still far too prevalent in 2025. The only reason this has ever even been true is because people in power continue to perpetuate the myth.
