My Movie Star turns 7 today.

Made this double album and several short films with actor and comedian Jay Mohr (SNL, Jerry Maguire) over the course of several years. Some of it was written on Malibu Beach, some in Hollywood, and some in Portland. All of the vocals were recorded live with only a piano at The Hallowed Halls. No idea why we did it that way but we did! I think I was trying to be raw or something lol.

A bunch of these songs made their way into TV shows, which was cool — and it will always be a career highlight to have collaborated with Tiffany, The Dandy Warhols, and a bunch of other heroes on one record.
