Been thinking a lot about life, death, and the privilege of still getting to be here. I turn 45 tomorrow and it’s unfathomable.

I’ve got plenty of regrets about these 16,425 days spent on Earth, but none more pronounced than wishing that I could have been softer on myself around life’s jagged edges, and kinder to others, at times, in the midst of it all. I have spent the past 2 decades in recovery working to figure this out and am pretty good at it now, but used to be terrible! Getting older is cool in this way. Lots to be proud of.

If it all ends this week, I hope everyone I love knows how much.❤️

Sitting here this morning with everything we created finally out in the world, just feeling really grateful for everybody who helped make the SOFTCORE project possible.

Been a big, beautiful process and I am thankful for all of it. Learned a lot this round — about myself, about other people, about joy and loss and staying tender and open to love in the midst of it all.

Anyway…hell yeah. ❤️
