LOGAN LYNN MUSIC + MANAGEMENT

THANKS TO EVERYBODY WHO CAME OUT TO THE LOGAN LYNN + CARS & TRAINS SHOW FOR MUSICFEST NORTHWEST!

Logan Lynn performing with "Cars & Trains" at MFNW 2009

Well, the annual whirlwind of shows, parties and appearances that come along with Musicfest Northwest has, for this year, come to and end. What a fun, LONG weekend that was!

Thanks to all of you who came out to my MFNW showcase on Friday at East End! It was my first show performing with “Cars & Trains” and we had the best time! Tom (aka “Cars & Trains”) is so talented and I feel SUPER excited about working with him as my new live show collaborator. He has really helped pushed my sound on stage to the next level and I feel a renewed sense of excitement for performing these songs, having been re-interpreted a bit for the new diggz.

It’s been really inspirational to watch “Cars & Trains” in action, both at rehearsal over the past few months and then FULL BLAST at the East End show. I caught myself looking over at how fast his hands and arms were moving from computer to drumpad to electronic gadgetry the other night and wondering how it was even humanly possible for one’s limbs to be moving at such speeds and with such accuracy. So cool. I am, as ever, surrounded by talented folks who know what they are doing. All I really have to say about that is HELL YEAH!!!

“Cars & Trains” and I will be bringing our show back East next month for my CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival showcase at “The Bowery Electric”…Can’t wait to see ya! Thanks again, Portland, for showing up on Friday, for being there with your dancing shoes on, and for making my night…My MFNW 2009 RULED! Hope yours did too.

I’ll take the comparisons they give any day of the week. I love it when they give props to the folks we worked with, too. There are links to Y-Tron and Boy In Static in the post as well! Hell-2-the-yesss.

From “Under The Radar” Magazine:

Logan Lynn
“Feed Me to the Wolves” MP3

Listen to this track

“Logan Lynn hails from Portland, OR and crafts some delightfully warm synth-pop on his debut full-length, From Pillar to Post. That album drops November 24th via The Dandy Warhols’ Beat the World, but we have a slick preview MP3 above for your earlobes. It’s called “Feed Me to the Wolves” and toes the line between Cut Copy’s epic chimes and Ladytron’s dancefloor squiggling.

Lynn is giving away a four-volume remix EP with every purchase of his record directly from his website. Remixers include Boy In Static, Y-Tron and Sound//Audio. According to Lynn’s publicist he’ll release the songs digitally Spring 2010, via iTunes, et al.”
