Hey everybody! THE WAIT IS OVER AND EVERYTHING RULES!!! I can FINALLY open my big mouth and share stuff that’s been top secret FOREVER! There’s SO much happening…I guess the best place to start is THE RELEASE DATE FOR “FROM PILLAR TO POST”!

We are gonna be doing an exclusive pre-release and digital release direct to you guys from THIS WEBSITE beginning on LABOR DAY WEEKEND (SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2009)! The record doesn’t hit stores and iTunes til this November, but you can get yours here in a few short weeks!!!

Alongside the release of “From Pillar To Post”, we will be releasing a Four Volume Remix EP Collection titled “Blood In The Water” which includes remixes of songs from my new record by Styrofoam, Boy In Static, The Gentry, Y-Tron, Naked Highway, Daniel Cartier, Asteroid Belt…the list goes on and on from there and I am spinning with excitement about how this piece of the puzzle has turned out. I have been freaking out DAILY about how talented all the people around me (and involved in this project) are and how CRAZY it is to have somebody tap into new, awesome places with my songs…not to mention that my long time musical superhero did a remix. Styrofoam?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! Super RAD.

SO…you can all finally hear what I’ve been working on for the past 2 1/2 years!!! I am really looking forward to that moment…those moments…Hope you are too. Labor Day Weekend can’t come soon enough, if you ask me!

Hey kids-

It’s been a big, busy week. I have been thick into rehearsal mode, getting ready to unveil the new lineup and live show this fall at my Musicfest Northwest! That’s all happening on Friday, September 18th, so…come to my MFNW showcase in Portland and have your minds blown. (If you’re into that sorta thing.)

I am also working on THREE new studio projects (on top of “From Pillar To Post”, which is about to come out on Beat The World Records) so “busy” may be an understatement when talking about my current state of affairs!

This week I tracked vocals at Tom (aka “Cars and Trains“) Filepp’s studio for a project I’m in the midst of with Y-Tron (aka Bryan Cecil) and everything turned out pretty amazing! I’m excited about all the talented folks I am working with these days!!! I’ve also been plugging away at a record of cover songs with Producer Mac Valentine and new songs with Carlos (Cortes) for later, so…more for your ears soon (and moving forward)!

“We received an advance copy of the album, titled, From Pillar To Post, and I’ve had it on repeat ever since. ‘Cassettes Won’t Listen’ fans, listen up. Lynn brings a plethora of electronic instrumentation to the table… Much like The Dandy Warhols, Lynn keeps most of his tunes upbeat, and doesn’t drown in the melancholic sounds of several other artists within the same genre (e.g. Electric President, Eberg, Tunng). “Feed Me To The Wolves” is one of the best tracks on the album, and a clear standout from the get-go. The pounding synths and keys, along with processed vocals from Lynn, work to create a stunning pyschedelic explosion – yet somehow Lynn manages to keep the song thoroughly grounded at the same time, with Cortes’ illustrious production a big help. By the way, “Burning Your Glory” will be used in the pilot for a new TV show, Astoria, Queens.”
