A few months back “Dancefloor Mayhem” hosted a Remix Contest for my song “Burning Your Glory“, just before my new record “From Pillar To Post” was released. There were a bunch of good ones, but not all of them made the final cut for the 4 Volume “Blood In The Water” Remix EP Collection we released alongside “FPTP”. One of those mixes belongs to “System C” and is totally awesome so I figured it should make its way to your ears.
Have a listen to the “System C” Remix of “Burning Your Glory” below!!!
Nov 14, 2009Comments Off on REMIXER SPOTLIGHT: JIMI PYTHON + LOGAN LYNN
“Jimi Python” is an Electro/Folk/Experimental wizard from Finland. His remix of “Burning Your Glory” was picked as one of the winners of the 2009 “Dancefloor Mayhem” LL Remix Contest and I agreed with them…
His version is totally better than any of the versions I have ever released of that song. I am happy to say it, happy to put it out on Volume 4 of the remix EP Collection, and happy that somebody was able to do what I would have done with it had I known what ultimately needed to be done. Jimi Python knew. Jimi Python knew big time.
For more information and to listen to Jimi Python’s music, CLICK HERE. Volume 4 is coming at you in December, people…but only when you get “From Pillar To Post” during the Pre-Release (which is happening NOW!)
