KILLER REVIEW OF MY SHOW AT HOLOCENE POSTED TODAY BY THE FOLKS AT MELOPHOBE.COM!

The kids at “Melophobe” dug my show at Holocene with Deastro and Wampire this past week and posted a review on their site today. You can read the full show review via the link below, but here’s a bit of the really good part to tide you over:

From “Melophobe”:
“Logan Lynn has a voice that put the audience in a trance. Crooning to hip, mesmerizing beats and sounds coming from DJ Carlos, Logan sang honest, heartfelt lyrics. Carlos drove the laptop at just the right speed, issuing paradise meticulously spun like a shimmering web, capturing us all. Logan Lynn’s music is unique and original, yet has a warm familiarity. I was reminded of velvet-voiced artists like Sade, with his skill at using vocal range so smoothly and beautifully. Logan advised that he was inspired by several female artists like Innocence Mission. I totally enjoyed his strong lyrics throughout, e.g.: ‘Burn me with cigarettes until I obey / Punish me backwards cuz I’ve been bad / You don’t take no prisoners. . . .’ Sweet!”

There’s a good and simple reason for confidence in what is as of press time a foregone conclusion: Logan Lynn is one of Portland’s best original artists.

There. Borrowing a well-worn queer rallying cry, “It’s Official.”
