That Stephen Cassell (publicist extraordinaire, owner of “Cassell Communications“, and personal friend of mine) sure does know how to throw a party. Man, that was a good time. It was a private event so I kept pretty tight-lipped about the night beforehand (which is very unlike me), but it was an amazing event.

For those of you who missed it, Holcombe Waller & Tahoe Jackson performed first and were each incredible, then I took the stage with “The Gentry” & scared the bejeezus out of the room with our loud wildness. It was so fun…and all for a good cause: To raise money for “The Right Brain Initiative” (and to wish Stephen a happy birthday)!!!

You can check out pix from the evening & get scooped HERE and HERE. Video and audio from the night coming soon. The lesson here for all of you is this: If Stephen Cassell is throwing a party, GO. If Stephen Cassell asks you to perform at said party, DO IT. Saturday night at The Fez Ballroom was the best time I’ve had in this funny town in quite some time…

See you again soon, Portland!!! I love you.
