Portland pop punk royalty Hutch Harris of The Thermals wrote a piece called “Just Visiting: A Brief History of Logan Lynn” for this week’s issue of the Portland Mercury, out tomorrow.

It’s about my troubled youth, escape from the abusive church I was raised in, and subsequent journey into wellness and peace…oh, and my new record. Thanks so much for taking such a thoughtful approach to telling this story, Hutch.

You should all know that, like me, my mom and dad have done full 180s in their own lives in the years since some of this stuff happened. We love each other and are so close these days! The two of them turning into LGBTQ activists over the past decade is one of the happiest parts of this story’s happy ending. ❤️💛💚💙💜

My band boys and I performed to a packed house and comedian Bri Pruett interviewed me and Gino Mari on the Late Night Action couch with Alex Falcone during our press tour. We got to chat about the olden days of the Portland music scene, my own colorful mental health journey and recovery, hot Cheetos, our new record and more.

Thanks to Gino Mari, Gil Assayas and Andrew Carreon for being the best band a man could wish for. I love sharing the stage with you. And thanks again to Alex Falcone for asking us to kick off Late Night Action’s final season at Mississippi Studios.

Feature Story on Logan Lynn’s Life and Career in York News Times This Week

logan-lynn-2016

I went back to my hometown of York, Nebraska a couple of weeks ago while we were on the road promoting the release of my new record #ADIEU and the local paper interviewed me for a story that’s out today.

They interviewed one of my two favorite high school teachers and the man who taught me how to sing, too. It’s lovely.

Thanks, York News-Times!

The story ran on the front page in York as well as in the Grand Island Independent.  Click HERE to read it on the York News Times website or just keep reading below for the full transcript.
