The song is about betrayal and who we become when we give ourselves up for someone else. In the video I got to burn down large swaths of the Idaho forest, which was symbolic of the fire that that been set in my life and home at the time — but also just because I absolutely hated living there, resented the bullshit that had brought me there in the first place, and wanted to watch it all burn.
