I played Folsom Street Fair in 2006 and this guy had a set at the festival the same year…he was nuts and it was awesome. Daniel’s music is a nice mix of acoustic and lo-fi electronica. Think Yaz meets Tracy Chapman.

His remix of “Feed Me To The Wolves” is a booty shakin’, speaker bumpin’, dancefloor fillin’ sex romp and I dig it. Volume 1 kicks ass in part because of this guy. As you guys may already know, Tom (Cars & Trains) and I will be bringing our show back East to perform at the 2009 CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival!

Passes to the festival are pretty steep (like $500 or something), but admission to the show itself for folks without CMJ Badges is just $3.00, so come out and play! The Bowery Electric is right around the corner from the old CBGB’s location in the East Village!
