It’s been a couple of weeks now since my band boys and I headlined Stargayzer Festival in Austin alongside Austra, Big Freedia, Christeene, Double Duchess and tons of other amazing LGBTQ performers, and this week a ton of press started popping up about our magical time there.

Check me out on Queerty HERE, ATX Street Style HERE, Gay Cities HERE and Confessions of a Boy Toy HERE.

This quote from Confessions of a Boy Toy makes me smile:

“The lineup was the ultimate list of who’s who in queer music today: JD SAMSON, CAZWELL, SSION, Mykki Blanco, Austra, CHRISTEENE, Big Dipper, The Crystal Ark, Logan Lynn, Xiu Xiu, BAATHHAUS, TR/ST, Hi Fashion, MikeQ, Big Freedia, Honey Soundsystem, Cakes Da Killa, Double Duchess, Yo Majesty and way more.”

We were interviewed by Unicorn Booty for Towleroad while we were in town, too…so stay tuned for more!

I miss you, Austin. You’re cute.

I was interviewed by entertainment site Bold & Sugar this week out of Texas. We chatted about all kinds of stuff, from music and love to queer rights and what coming out is like now vs. when I did it in the mid-90s and more.
