New music Tuesday has brought with it another brand new music video! This NEW remix of my song “Feed Me To The Wolves” was made by “Supercosa” and has a sorta dark, super awesome thing going on with it. Have a listen. It’s GOOD. Like…REALLY good.
Appears on Logan Lynn: “Blood In The Water” Remix EP Collection, Volume 3 (2009 Beat The World Records).
Original appears on Logan Lynn: “From Pillar To Post” (2009 Beat The World Records).
“Bad Life + Gadgets” is based out of NYC and is the sum of two parts: Jean Goode and Teddy Forthewin…they are friends of my band by way of Carlos, who produced my new record, “From Pillar To Post”, and is now on the East Coast with them producing a solo record for Jean.
These guys have undercurrents of hip-hop and trip-hop all wound into this sort of indie electro experience and, well…they have their hands in EVERYTHING including a remix of “Write It On My Left Arm” for Volume 3 of my “Blood In The Water” Remix EP Collection. It’s great and will be coming at you in November.
Jean Goode also lent her voice to “Feed Me To The Wolves” on my new release…Jean and Teddy are lovely and talented and I’m stoked on their remix. You will be too, VERY SOON!

I played Folsom Street Fair in 2006 and this guy had a set at the festival the same year…he was nuts and it was awesome. Daniel’s music is a nice mix of acoustic and lo-fi electronica. Think Yaz meets Tracy Chapman.
His remix of “Feed Me To The Wolves” is a booty shakin’, speaker bumpin’, dancefloor fillin’ sex romp and I dig it. Volume 1 kicks ass in part because of this guy. Now…go hump a speaker and have a listen. You can pick up this remix FREE with the purchase of my new record, “From Pillar To Post” HERE.

Y-Tron is an electronic artist based out of Portland, Oregon. His music relies heavily on vintage synthesizer and drum machine sounds, as well as the extensive use of vocoder and he has a slick little sound going on throughout his work, remixes and otherwise.
I met Bryan Cecil-aka “Y-Tron”-back in the day and now, years later and long-distance, we are working together on a new LL dance record which will be out next year sometime! Interestingly enough, “Y-Tron” also did the music for my cover of “The Dandy Warhols” song “You Were The Last High” which I am going to be releasing next month at some point as a little taste of what’s to come.
Check out his remix of “Write It On My Left Arm” in the music player on this site and bring home Volume 1 today to make it yours forever. For more information on Y-Tron, CLICK HERE.
I’ve been working with Y-Tron on a new record for next year and one of the tracks is a cover of The Dandy Warhols’ song “The Last High”. We’ve decided to go ahead and release it WAY in advance of the Y-Tron/LL EP and will be laying it on your ears at some point in the near future, so stay tuned! Y-Tron did the music and we have come up with a really cool new arrangement of their awesome song.
What was particularly cool about doing this was that I got to run the whole thing by Courtney (Taylor-Taylor) beforehand and he gave me his blessing and let me go into The Dandy Warhols’ studio with one of their engineers to record and mix the thing. I’ve said it before, but he’s RAD and when I was doing a last-minute lyric check with him he said “It’s yours now”, which made me grin ear to ear. I’m also happy to report that, upon hearing the first mix of the song, he still approved. WHEW!
🙂
I met with Bystander Productions tonight about doing a video for the track as well…I’ll keep you guys posted as things develop with this. Jeremy Sherrer and I will be finished mixing this coming week at some point, then it’s off to mastering, then…TO YOU! In the meantime, you can watch the original video that the Warhols made when they first released it HERE.
“Styrofoam“
Logan Lynn: “Bleed Him Out (Styrofoam Remix)” from the “Blood In The Water” Remix EP Collection…AVAILABLE ONLY THROUGH THIS SITE HERE and ONLY IF YOU PICK UP “FROM PILLAR TO POST” NOW DURING THE PRE-RELEASE!
The godfather of my genre and one of my all-time musical HEROES, Belgium Electropop Genius Arne Van Pategem-aka “Styrofoam”- has served as inspiration for “Death Cab For Cutie” frontman Ben Gibbard’s side project “The Postal Service” (see The Postal Service’s Top Friends on Myspace) and he certainly has done the same for me since I first heard his record “I’m What’s There To Show Something’s Missing” in 2003.
The fact that this guy likes my music means the world to me, and getting him actually working with one of my songs for the remix project has meant even more. You are gonna go crazy when you hear what he did to “Bleed Him Out”. It’s amazing…and coming at you on Volume 3 in November!
