"THE DELI" MAGAZINE PREVIEWED LOGAN LYNN'S UPCOMING SHOW WITH "JAGUAR LOVE" AT HOLOCENE TODAY ON THEIR SITE!

Logan Lynn (2010)

Awww…Last year when they reviewed my new record, “The Deli” Magazine said it was “the best record, electronic or otherwise, to come out of Portland in 2009” and now today they previewed my show at Holocene THIS COMING TUESDAY with “Jaguar Love“. They had some REALLY nice things to say.

From “The Deli” Magazine: (1/31/2010)

“It’s no secret that we at The Deli Portland are pretty big fans of electro-gloom pop progenitor Logan Lynn. And where Lynn’s mastery of making you feel dirty within synth-heavy, minor-melody blasts of no-wave electronic rock is arguably one of the more interesting deviations from the main plug of the Stumptown scene, Jaguar Love take a wet mop to the whole shebang.

"THE DELI MAGAZINE" REVIEW CALLS "FROM PILLAR TO POST" THE BEST ALBUM TO COME OUT OF PORTLAND THIS YEAR!!!

Logan Lynn (2009)

It doesn’t really get any better than what “The Deli Magazine” had to say about my new record today. Check out the full post HERE or, you can read a bit from the review just below:

“Logan Lynn’s new album From Pillar To Post will be released via Lynn’s Web site starting tomorrow, September 4th, over two full months before its iTunes and nationwide retail release.

From Pillar To Post is more than just an electro-pop hustle; Lynn’s solemn vocal intonations – monotone and richly verbose – transform what would otherwise simply be stunningly melancholy dance-punk into another, less traveled road of stoic expression.

Tracks ooze with pop-y blips before the thud of driving beats implores you to submit to the lurking troubadour hiding within. In all honesty, I feel a sense of overt creepiness every time I listen to the album. It’s dark and rough and sopping with droplets of introspective rehabilitation, like an audio diary plucked from the newly healthy hands of a 21st Century Robotic Digi-genius.

It’s probably the best album, electronic or otherwise, to have been released out of Portland this entire year. AND it was weaned into being by the dudes in the Dandy Warhols, via Beat the World Records.”

LOGAN LYNN NOMINATED FOR OCTOBER ARTIST OF THE MONTH AT "THE DELI"! CAST YOUR VOTE HERE!

Logan Lynn (2009)

Super cool. All ya gotta do is go over to The Deli’s website HERE and in the upper right there’s a box that says “Band Of The Month Poll”. Under that, there’s a link to vote for which act you think should be their next Artist of the Month. I hope you’ll cast your vote my way!

🙂

Thanks for the love, everybody! I can feel it with every click.
