I’ve been releasing acoustic versions of new songs every few weeks since December and let another one out this evening. LOGAN LYNN RELEASES ACOUSTIC VERSIONS OF NEW SONGS – FREE DOWNLOAD HERE!

Last year on this day the most wonderful man came into my life. Over the past 12 months of being together a new record has formed. In honor of today’s manniversary I have decided to leak a couple of the acoustic demo versions of new songs from said new record.

Teenage pop prodigy Noah Daniel Wood plays guitar on both “Everything You Touch Turns To Gold” and “Heaven Or Hell” and they were recorded in Portland by David Appaloosa from The Hugs.

These songs are for my dearest Aleksandr.

VIDEO INTERVIEW WITH LOGAN LYNN & DANNY D. FROM THE HUGS ON PIRATE SATELLITE TELEVISION THIS WEEK! WATCH HERE.

Earlier this month Danny D. (from Portland indie supergroup The Hugs) invaded my house with bright lights and cameras to interview me for Pirate Satellite TV. You can watch the video below or by clicking HERE. It’s pretty funny.

WATCH VIDEO OF LOGAN LYNN & THE GENTRY PERFORMING LIVE AT ROCKIT ROOM ON TOUR IN SAN FRANCISCO HERE!

A few seriously mismanaged, mind-blowing venue/booking-related disasters aside, this was a really good night. Maybe my favorite group of wild dancing people from the whole tour so far and DEFINITELY my favorite bands to share the stage with; both The Gentry and The Hugs owned that room! There are a couple of angles I could work with this story but I have chosen to completely omit the really dumb, soul-crushing part about the dickholes running promotions at Rockit Room and only tell you about the wonderful part…for now.

(Insert evil laughter here.)

So with that being said, the story goes like this: I love you, San Francisco. Special thanks to Andrew Rodriguez who had read on Facebook earlier that week that my computer had died and proceeded to come up to me at the merch booth after dancing in the front row the whole night at our show and gave me a computer bag with a Mac Powerbook and all sorts of goodies inside. Like…out of the kindness of his heart!!! Can you believe that? He seriously deserves some sort of award. Also, serious props to Alex Jon Earl for being the most dedicated fanboy in the entire universe, following us all over the place this Summer, from Washington to California!!! I’m really glad I got the chance to meet you guys in person this Summer. Thanks for being prime examples of why I got into this whole musical mess in the first place.

🙂

Now watch some clips and pretend you are the tripod, sitting on the right side of the stage, so close you could punch any of us in the dick if you wanted to. Oh, and come see one of the remaining dates on our Summer Tour! Still up: Salem, Oregon at Flipside Nightclub for Salem Pride on August 6th & Portland, Oregon at Mississippi Studios on August 20th. Show info in the Events section of this site!

THE CALIFORNIA LEG OF MY SUMMER TOUR IS IN THE BAG! BIG THANKS TO THE GENTRY & THE HUGS FOR COMING ALONG WITH!

I’ve actually been home from our trip since last Friday but it’s taken me 5 days to decompress. That was wild, wild stuff people. ha ha ha — Thanks so much to The Gentry and The Hugs for making the long journey to California with me and putting on amazing shows all week.

We shot video at both the San Francisco and Sacramento shows which I’ll post as soon as I get them from AC. It was really fun to see all of our California friends. I forgot how beautiful everyone is in San Francisco! Also, those kids aren’t “too cool” to dance. It’s fucking awesome. We’ll be back soon to do it again!!!

Check out all the photos from our California trip (as well as shots from the shows) on Myspace HERE and on Facebook HERE.

RONTOM’S 4TH OF JULY PARTY WITH 1776, LOGAN LYNN & THE GENTRY, + THE HUGS WAS SO FUN. WILD TIMES IN PUDDLETOWN!!!

Whoa, Portland. You made me enjoy the 4th of July more than I think I have since becoming an adult. (Whatever that even means). For those of you who weren’t with us at Rontom’s this past Sunday night, here is a bit of what happened:

After a set by Snow Bud & The Flower People, The Hugs (pictured above) performed all their hits. Those boys are awesome. I’m bringing them to California on tour with me next week so you can see for yourselves.

Here’s the video of me and The Gentry playing “Bottom Your Way To The Top” while Portland gets down:

Then, as you can see from the photo above, I played a set with The Gentry. We got the kids dancing at Rontom’s which I heard from some of their staff is not something that just happens all the time. Ummm….Yeah. It was fucking rad.

Watch “Come Home” below. I LOVE THE DANCING LADIES IN THE FRONT ROW!!!

The dancing continued after our set with the 1776 working the crowd into some sort of 1960’s rock and roll frenzy by the time they were through. It was a really good night. Thanks to 1776 for inviting us to be on the bill. We had a great time.

I totally love playing shows at Rontom’s!

Here’s a clip of us performing “Bleed Him Out” in the loudest way.

ONE WEEK FROM TONIGHT: LOGAN LYNN & THE GENTRY LIVE IN SACRAMENTO WITH THE HUGS + LITTLE BLACK BATS!

Next Wednesday (July 14th) I will be performing at the Blue Lamp Lounge in Sacramento with The Gentry, The Hugs, & Little Black Bats!!! This is part 2 of our California adventure. Come to the SF show on the 13th, then party in the SAC with us the next night!

We’ll see you in exactly ONE WEEK, Sacramento! Come party with us Puddletown style! RSVP to the Facebook event page HERE.
