My new video premiered this morning on the Vortex Music Magazine site. It is an homage to my family and community, and is about surviving together in the face of grief and loss.
In light of the past few years of losing some of our own, it has been clear that our love — and their love for us — continues to hold my family together, long after they have gone.
Thank you to my uncle David for capturing tons of old family movies decades ago. It is such a special thing to have living images of my grandparents, of my beloved family (Pat, Scott, Steve, Debby, Colleen, Mildred, Loy, Teresa, Gene and others) to build this story around.
…and for those of you in my community who have ever felt oppressed by the world, I hope you are also enveloped by hope, and that love is winning in your life.

Lynn debuted this new sound last year when he released a critically-acclaimed cover of Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop”, which New York Magazine called “Dreamy” and “Guitar-heavy” and The Huffington Post described as “warm” and “bolder than the original”.
