Hello mister government sir I am Queer and proud and I am not afraid.
This bootlicker scare tactic shit didn’t work on me as a Gay child growing up in the 1980s; it didn’t work on me as a street kid watching my community die around me in the 1990s; it didn’t do anything but radicalize me in the 2000s; and it sure as hell isn’t going to work on me or any of my friends and family now, a quarter of a century later.
I am exhausted but you will have to kill me to ever shut me up. And I promise you, then the Queer and Trans voices will just get louder. There is simply no closet big enough. You cannot kill us all. There have always been LGBTQ+ people and there ALWAYS will be.
And to my sweet community, I see you. I am here with you and I’m so sorry this is still happening. I will always fight for you. For us. For our love. ❤️ Read the rest of this entry »

ACTUAL FUCKING NAZIS HAVE INVADED PORTLAND.
As you watch, participate, or cover today’s protests, it’s important to remember that ANTIFA is not an organization, it’s an idea.
It literally just means ANTI-FASCISM.
So, like, within anti-fascism there are a million different tactics folks can (and should) be taking — but we should absolutely ALL be ANTI-FASCIST.
If we aren’t ANTIFA, we are, by definition, PRO-FASCISM.
There’s no middle ground here.
Specific tactics aside, at this point, you’re either with the Nazis or you are against them.
It’s 2019.
DECIDE.

Thank you to Andy Towle for helping get the word out on Towleroad about what’s been happening with all of this insane homophobia and online abuse.
This shit is wild, and I feel like people have no idea how complicit Reddit is in perpetuating hate and violence against queer and trans people. Make no mistake: THIS IS THEIR BUSINESS MODEL.
When I was a kid and bullies would call me a fag, knock my books out of my hands, or slam my head into the lockers, I always kicked, screamed, and fought back — even if it meant that I was suspended from school or got my ass kicked worse.
AND I HAVEN’T CHANGED A BIT. 🌈✊❤️
