Hello mister government sir I am Queer and proud and I am not afraid.

This bootlicker scare tactic shit didn’t work on me as a Gay child growing up in the 1980s; it didn’t work on me as a street kid watching my community die around me in the 1990s; it didn’t do anything but radicalize me in the 2000s; and it sure as hell isn’t going to work on me or any of my friends and family now, a quarter of a century later.

I am exhausted but you will have to kill me to ever shut me up. And I promise you, then the Queer and Trans voices will just get louder. There is simply no closet big enough. You cannot kill us all. There have always been LGBTQ+ people and there ALWAYS will be.

And to my sweet community, I see you. I am here with you and I’m so sorry this is still happening. I will always fight for you. For us. For our love. ❤️
