Logan Lynn Producing New Web Series with Portland’s Hippodrome Media to #FightStigma Around Mental and Behavioral Health
A few months back when I was Lena Dunham and Carrie Brownstein’s guest at their Portland gig for Lena’s book release, I had the pleasure of experiencing the genius of Portland Actress and Comedian JoAnn Schinderle, who opened the show with a short set of stand-up.
I knew immediately that I wanted to work with this talented woman on something, so when it was time to cast the new web series I was developing to help combat stigma and change narratives around mental and behavioral health with Trillium Family Services, JoAnn was the first and only person who came to mind.
In the months since, I have worked closely with Portland’s Hippodrome Media (who also created my “Tramp Stamps and Birthmarks” video in 2013) to develop the web series, and we just finished shooting the first 4 episodes this past week. It has been such a pleasure to bring this dream to life with such a talented cast and crew, and I can’t wait for you all to see it when it premieres in May for Mental Health Awareness Month!
In the meantime, check out some behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot days below:
